Gluten-Free Chocolate-Raspberry Frosting: Mixing things up a little — chocolate with some favorite accent flavors.
A very simple dual-flavor frosting that uses raspberry jam as a flavor enhancer. By simply substituting the flavor of jam used, you can produce many chocolate-with-accent frostings.
Gluten-Free Recipe Card and Pictures
4 Ounces Dark or Semisweet Chocolate 4 Ounces (½ Cup) Seedless Raspberry Jam ¼ Cup (½ Stick) Butter
- Place all ingredients in microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave only long enough to completely melt chocolate. Stir until completely smooth.
- Allow to cool to a temperature where the frosting is thick enough to be spread on cake with an icing knife; apply to cake.
