This hot fudge recipe is made using the microwave. Very simple to make, and quite delicious! The picture below shows it served over Coffee Ice Cream — fantastic! There is also an easy variation for making a Mocha Hot Fudge sauce.

Gluten-Free Hot Fudge Sauce

1 Cup (half pint) Heavy Cream
¼ Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
¾ Cup Brown Sugar
¾ Cup Sugar
½ Cup (1 stick) Butter (unsalted), chopped
1 Cup Cocoa

In a large microwave safe bowl, add cream, chocolate chips, sugars and chopped butter. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir. Microwave for another minute, remove from microwave and whisk (few minutes) until smooth and sugars are completely dissolved.


Add a little bit of instant coffee to the mix for a nice mocha flavor.
